Community. Connection. Compassion.

Hello, I'm Jenny Snell, and I'm running for Wheat Ridge City Council, District 1. I have a deep love for our Wheat Ridge community, and I'm thrilled about the opportunity to serve on the City Council.

Back in 2014, my wife and I were looking for our first home, and our realtor introduced us to Wheat Ridge. We fell in love with the community instantly. Our neighbors warmly welcomed us as we moved in, with some even bringing us homemade goodies from their gardens. Their kindness left a lasting impression on me, and I still get emotional thinking about it.

I made a personal commitment to give back to the community that had shown us such love. I started volunteering, attending meetings and events, and connecting with fellow residents. I became part of the vibrant Wheat Ridge community, a group of people who share a deep affection for our city and actively contribute to its well-being. I'm incredibly thankful for these wonderful individuals.

In my free time, I have a range of interests, from outdoor activities like biking, camping, and hiking, to being an avid Star Wars fan who loves making clever references. Music is another passion of mine; I enjoy attending live performances, discussing music and artists, and discovering new bands.

However, what brings me the most joy is my family – my wife Megan and our three dogs. We cherish traveling to visit family, hosting friends in our backyard, and tackling home improvement projects (sometimes a bit ambitiously). As the saying goes, "Life is Sweet in Wheat Ridge," and I couldn't agree more.

I'm eagerly looking forward to connecting with you! Feel free to reach out, join one of my meet and greets, or let's meet over coffee or a beer. I'm excited to hear your perspective on Wheat Ridge, your hopes for our city, and how I can earn your trust and represent you effectively. We're fortunate to be neighbors, and that's a great starting point for our conversation.

“Jenny Snell’s true north is Community. I have had both the pleasure of working with her as a business owner and I am honored to be her neighbor.

As small business owners whose businesses are focused on serving people we take every opportunity to collaborate. The laughter and joy that is created is tangible. People feel seen, heard and cared about.

As neighbors chatting at the end of the driveway, Jenny never ceases to amaze me. She stops to wave and kindly greet every person rolling, walking or riding by. Jenny inspires me to be the best version of myself I can imagine and she strives to create the best version of Wheat Ridge that she can imagine everyday.

Jenny is the clear choice for district 1. Join her and build Community!”
